Breezes Jamaica!

But BreezesJamaica is really the term used to bucket all the Breezes hotels located in Jamaica.

Breezes Montego Bay was the first of the Breezes brand is now more fulfilling than ever. I was there back in May'08 and I was blown away - seriously. (See updated article on Breezes Mobay here)

It was only a business meeting but I was very impressed! Not only was everywhere squeaky clean and well decorated, the food was surreal! The buffet dining room, which had a makeover recently, could not be more impressive!

I could not help noticing the many exciting activities taking place. One that caught my attention was an activity where some of the male visitors pretended to be females- and dressing accordingly, modeled!

You should have seen it! Cynthia (my lunch partner) and I had a ball of it!

Ironically, I never had much interest there before, honestly.

Why? [I hear you asking]

Well, it was nothing more than the fact that it is (geographically) very near to me and whenever I plan for a vacation or a weekend, it is usually to a distance away, certainly not in my immediate vicinity and so I felt bad I overlooked a quality option- right at my doorstep!

As for Breezes Runaway Bay, well I haven't been there as yet either but the reviews are equally impressive. In fact it was only a few months ago a visitor to this website was asking me for help finding a local friend.

She met this person at a this fantastic hotel but she lost contact. Now, although she was passionate about finding her friend, more than half the email was describing the hotel and how satisfied she was. So you guessed it...

Yes, it was Breezes Runnaway Bay. No wonder they label it the playful side of paradise

And by the way, they (and indeed all the hotels under the SuperClub umbrella) has what they call the SuperClubs Guaranteed Getaways Policies.

It includes the No Hurricane Guarantee and the Jamaica Sunshine Guarantee:

Basically, should a hurricane strike the resort, guests will receive a reimbursement for the total value of the disrupted nights. In addition, a voucher for a future stay will be issued for the same number of disrupted nights good for use during the same month the following year, excluding airfare, and, if the sun should refuse to show its face on any day during a Jamaican SuperClubs holiday, the client will receive a voucher equal to that day's value, good for one year towards another SuperClubs vacation. Good stuff eeh?
