Thanks to the vision and leadership of one Abe Issa, this prestigious hotel chain has become one of Jamaica's and the Caribbean's best.
It started way back in 1943 when Abe convinced his dad to purchase the Myrtle Bank Hotel in Kingston. Then in January 1949, another property, Tower Isle, opened its doors.
This new hotel was soon to become a popular Hollywood hangout. Stage and screen stars, sports heroes and political figures frequented the resort.
Walt Disney, actress Eva Gabor, screen sensation Debbie Reynolds, movie star Errol Flynn, boxer Joe Louis and playwright Noel Coward and even Princess Margaret enjoyed what they called the old world charm of the resort.
Incidentally that hotel (Tower Isle) led the start of a new era of tourism in Jamaica. It also became the first resort to remain open year round!

In 1978 Abe turned the concept of all-inclusive into a reality in Jamaica and turned Tower Isle into our first all-inclusive resort for couples only, aptly named Couples Resort.
Today, Couples Resort Jamaica operates four luxury all-inclusive, couples-only resorts here.
