It sounds like you are looking at your vacation options, right?

Someone called 'The Goddess' answered this very question two years ago on yahoo.

This was her answer:

"Both Hawaii and Jamaican have EXTREMELY rich culture. Both have that great relaxing feeling. However, Jamaica unlike Hawaii, seems to have a more vibrant night life..

The culture of Jamaica is in the Jamaican people..you will see it everyday, everywhere, all the days and never get sick of it..the resorts are first class and the tours and attractions are absolutely the best.. the culture is just IN YOUR FACE! Some people LOVE it..some people HATE it! But, your dollar value goes farther in Jamaica as well..so its cheaper..as well!

Hawaii is serene. Hawaii is for a laid back person. The hula..bond fires..drinks..are amazing. There history is wonderful too. Its culture is absolutely beautiful.. It's a very friendly place as well..

It's all about what you are there for. Do you want to relax? Do you want to go to lots of attractions and tours? Do you want a place with lots of history? Do you want a place filled with nightlife...

All these things..it sounds like Jamaica will provide."
