Herbert C. got married to Inez and they used to work at Myrtle Bank together. Their son is Gary and the three eventually migrated to England. Herbert C. and Inez later divorced and Inez and Gary may have migrated to the U.S.

Rudolph was last known working in Kingston back in the 1960s.

My grandfather and all his relatives claimed that they were born in Canada and that their parents were from Scotland.

The truth is that they were born in Jamaica in the late 1800s, early 1900s.

After the death of their father, the children of Charles Abraham sailed from Port Morant aboard the United Fruit Company steamer SS Admiral Sampson in 1907, arriving in Boston.

They settled in Toronto, Canada. They were "mulatto" and Hebrew, but assumed the identities of white protestants in Canada.

They left one girl behind because she was "negro" at birth. Quite an amazing story - I discovered this about a month ago. I am looking for anyone who can assist me to find long lost relatives.

Their family name is Sampson. They are from the May Hill-Alligator Pond area. There are references to land they owned called "Gaza" which was sold on the death of Charles Abraham Sampson. Here are the family members:

I ran away from home in 1970 to kingston age 16 with my friend Elva were I meet Neville. I had his son Junior 27 decemder1970 and his daughter Julie 11 February 1973.

I last saw Neville 1976 on my way to Norman Manley airport Kingston leaving for England.

The other person who know of you was Mrs Olga who you used to meet up with at Cross Read Kingston.

You had a brother call George and your family land was on halfway Tree Read and your sister use to traveled to America and you had two other sons.

My Mother, Olive Mullings, born Olive Dixon is searching for her brother, Erick Powell.

Erick was born Coswell Elliott in St. Elizabeth to Mavis Miller, and was subsequently adopted by Burnell and Sarah Powell from St. Elizabeth but came to reside in Homewood, Manchester.

The Powells had a daughter named Violet Powell. Erick would now be in his late eighties or early ninties. As a young man, his best friend name was Blake.

He also worked at Hope Garden in Kingston. He later married a woman of Asian decent and possibly migrated to England.

Mavis Miller had three children, Erick Powell, Hycianth Dixon and Olive Dixon. Mavis Miller died around age 41.

My Grandfather (Prosley Lloyd Bullock)

Lloyd Bullock came to Cornwall in the UK during WW2, he was possibly either in the RAF, RFA or Fleet air arm and had a short relationship with my Grandmother.

The family lost touch with him shortly after the war I believe and I would love to know if we still have relations living in Jamaica.

I have tried many different ways to find something out about him so I would be grateful if anyone out there can tell me where he went after the war, did he get married, have children etc, does he have brothers or sisters? I believe he was born either in St Marys or Kingston and he would be around 88 years old if still alive today?
