QUESTION: hi everybody I’m move to Jamaica in December and I’m interested for a room, or a study apartment, does anybody know how much it cost one room, or one study apartment in Jamaica monthly ... please

The cost of rental for a room or apartment in Jamaica is dependent upon the neighborhood and the amenities.
The Rent Board of Jamaica (offers a guideline as to the costing per month and other regulations which governs rental.
The best way however to seek real estate, especially when coming in from overseas, is via the leading newspaper classifieds, These are the Jamaica Observer (http://www.classifieds.jamaicaobserver.com) and the Jamaica Gleaner (http://www.gleanerclassifieds.com)
It would be good if you have a particular locale in mind as this would help to narrow the decision as to where you wish to seek your new place of residence.
Price range is also determined on the basis of furnished or unfurnished accommodations.
As an overseas resident, it is pertinent for one to become familiar with the statutory regulations governing such a move.
