Marijuana should be legalized

Marijuana should be legalized in every country, simply because it is really no different than alcohol or any other legal substance.

Is there really any good reason for it to be illegal?

In my opinion, there is not. If it is legalized, people will still do what they do now, they can just be more open about it. If the governments don't legalize it, people will use it all the same, they just can't be open about it and it's another thing for the police to arrest people for.

It's the people's choice whether to use it or not, who is the government to tell us we cannot?

Your views are exactly the way I think about it.

The only thing I would add is that if it is decriminalized, it would remove the money and perhaps the appeal too.

We can't ignore the fact that the very reason it is so lucrative, is because it is illegal.
