They say first impressions are lasting impressions.
The first time I set foot on the beautiful island of Montego Bay, Jamaica I was hooked.
I love the people and its culture, and have always been a reggae fan.
I have several friends, who live in the states now, who are Jamaican and they have warmly welcomed me into the culture. I considered myself part of the Jamaican culture now and forever :-)
I haven't been back in years, but hope to come back soon!

It is such a joy to get stories like yours Cyndi - not really that I am surprise of the love Jamaica pulls, but it is the passionate community we have now created; a group of persons who we can accurately call family, even though we may not, nor ever, know each other totally.
That is the spirit of Jamaica though :-)
