Yes, he wore glasses. He wasn't very tall and had a trim athletic build - was a nice-looking man. I will try to find the pictures today and try to scan them. Perhaps I can then e-mail them to you.

If you could find pictures it would be awesome. Do you recall if he ever said he had a daughter? According to my mom and my grandmother he did get at least most of his education here. I was born in 1973. I am 37 years old. My grandmother had him deported because he was older than my mother, but I don't how much older. My mom and my grandmother also told me that he was very intelligent and that he didn't take mess off of no one. There is one man in Texas who said he was very close friends with my dad his name was Willie Clayton but once my father was deported they also lost touch. Can you tell me if he wore glasses? My mom said that my dad wore glasses

my email address is: lychelle7@aol.com ...this maybe a better way to communicate

I don't know about speaking 7 languages, but I think this may be the same man. If so, your father is a very intelligent man, but always lived on the edge. We had a relationship for a time in the 80's in Wichita, KS. He had another girlfriend there who had his son, but I don't remember the child's name.

He told me that his father was at one time a police chief in Kingston, but he was sent to a sister in England when he was caught with some others stealing copper out of a train car. He had a degree in engineering. He moved to Detroit after leaving Wichita to work for Ford and I visited him there once. He hated it and then moved to Truckee, CA.

He would call from time to time, but I lost track of him after I left Kansas. I did not know that he was deported. We played a lot of chess, listened to a lot of music. He slept only a few hours every night. He was a gambler, a dope smoker, an athlete, a player in many ways. And yet, he had a strong personal ethic. He worked as hard at his job as at play.

He did not tolerate stupid people. I remember once when he told me about a group of black teens that were touring his job place, and they were acting like fools, and seemed to make the assumption that he was one of them.

He let them know in no uncertain terms that he was embarrassed by their behavior and that they were out of line. He advised them to join the military, something he often advised young folks who were stuck in poverty with little opportunity, personal direction or motivation.

Actually, I think he may have moved to Texas before he lived in Wichita - that may be where he got his education, in which case you may have 2 brothers, because the one in Wichita would probably be younger than you.

I will try to find his photos. We probably need to find a secure way to communicate. Actually, I would like to know what happened to him also.

No, I have not found him yet. I know that he played soccer and that he came to the U.S. On a scholarship, spoke 7 different languages and has at least one biological son older than me. I believe his name might be Michael. I would love to see pictures if you believe the person you have pictures of is my father.
