Updates to Central Branch Primary Classmates
by: Anonymous

Hi Pauline,
It?s interesting to see all these old, familiar names. I've often wondered what everyone?s been up to since leaving Central Branch. As for me, I moved to the US and lived in the Phila/New Jersey area for 37 years but have been living in the UK over the last 2 years.

I know of the where about of Leona and Leonora Walker. I used to see them both quite often at their family home in New Jersey. Leona suffered a stroke 5 or 6 years ago which severely affected her speech, but miraculously, she regained her speech some time after. Unfortunately, I?m not able to provide any contact information though.

I?ve run into Beverly Smith in Phila several times and Pauline Brackenridge once many years ago. I believe she was living in Chicago at the time. I used to keep in touch with Antoinette Crawford up in the Bronx NY years ago but somehow we
lost touch.

How about some of the other classmates that were not mentioned? For instance, Lenox Reid, Joan Williams (I believe she was cousin to Olive Hall), Winsome Clark,
Raymond Crosdale, Marcia and Maureen Henry, Herlow and Victor Francis, Lewin Miller, Orville Millwood, Hervriel Gray. I could go on but I would run the risk of this becoming a short novel.

Anyhow, this is my input, and by the way, hopefully you?ll remember me but this is Courtney Bailey. Very nice of you to open up this inquiry for old schoolmates. I?ll continue to check the Internet for any updates.
