Contest Entry #039 - Not in my Crayon Box
This was taken on my first trip to Jamaica in January of 2011, near Montego Bay. I couldn't believe the beauty and the color of the water! This color isn't even in my crayon box!
I felt like I had tears of absolute joy throughout my entire trip...and then tears of sadness when I left. Little did I know then, that Jamaica would become my home away from home!
Every time we go to Jamaica, we stay at the Holiday Inn Sunspree in Montego Bay. People ask me why I stay at the same place all the time.
I tell them that I have found my paradise! It's a beautiful resort at a reasonable price...but it's the people that keep bringing me back!
They are the nicest, most helpful and accommodating people I have ever had the pleasure of staying with.
Even when I'm not there, I still stay in contact with a few of the employees there, especially Winsome, the Guest Services Manager and Siddyann, also in Guest Services.
They make me feel like one of the family and that I will always have friends in Jamaica!
Jah Bless this island and their people! Can't wait to go back... 67 days!!!"
