Poem - Seek the Father Above

Seek The Father Above
One, two, three, four, five, six, seven,
It’s another murder again.

The youths are killing each other daily,
Soon there’ll be no men for the ladies to marry.
Long ago it was bat and ball, spinning top and lots of clean fun,
Now it’s guns, guns and more guns.

It seems the youths think murder is a game
And find pleasure in causing pain.

These constant tragedies are degrading the standard of our beloved country,
Youths, this is insanity, stop the cruelty,
It’s time exercise peace and unity.
Show some love,
Seek the Father above.

Gang war is not the answer,
It causes disaster and horror.
Jesus is the burden bearer and problem solver,
From the strongholds of sin, he can and will deliver.

Get hooked on Jesus,
In him, put your trust.
His name is a strong tower,
Run into it, there you’ll find shelter.

Come to Jesus, he’ll make all things well,
Stop sending your precious souls to hell.
Time to eradicate murder,
From our midst, we must annihilate this monster.
The devil is a thief and a liar; he’s the destroyer,

Try Jesus, he has something better.
The crime and violence are not doing any good,
Use the living word; it’s spiritual food.
Youths, you are special and God loves you,
There must be something positive you can do.

You should surrender to Jesus and accept salvation,

That’s the first step in the right direction.
To all concerned citizens! Attention! Attention! Attention!
This a S.O.S to everyone,
Prayer changes things, it can save our nation.
