Looking at this picture always brings me back to a time of relaxation and recharging in my life.
I mean, could there be anything better than opening your door to a view of the sea?
This is taken at Sea Scape guesthouse in Longbay Portland. The house sits right on the coastline and is a great place to stay for a night or two (or a week if you can!).
The sound of the waves at night lull you into a wonderful sleep, the beautiful sunrises and sunsets give you a great start and end to your days and the constant sea breeze keeps you cool even in the hottest part of the summer.
I’ve woken up early for a coffee and sunrise, spent hours in the hammock, gone for some long swims and nice walks on the beach, stayed up late playing dominos and cards, and had many great memories with wonderful people while staying in this house.
Long bay is a great relaxed beachy community with very low key tourism.
