I am currently assisting my client who is a property owner for a property in Saint Cruz.
He is in Canada for the past 30 yrs and his sister has lived in the property for the past 30 yrs. He is currently going through a separation and a divorce and the wife want's 50% of the value of the home.
If the brother transfers title to the sister will he have to give the wife anthing? What is the procedure and how soon can it be done? and what are the cost's ?
We need a judge's order that the sister has right's to the property. Contact me at paralegal1patricia@hotmail.com.

Hi Patricia,
Thanks for stopping by our site and for your question on transfering title in Jamaica.
I am not a real estate expert, but I do know a few persons who are in the field and could be of tremendous help to you and your client. Two, off the bat are Maura Watson, real estate agent and Nicole Allen, property lawyer. Miss Allen's office number is 876-952-4200.
Good luck!
