FDR Resort Wedding in 2010

Hello, I am happy to share with you my family's great experience at FDR resort. We traveled there for our wedding- and brought my 2 teen boys.

The room was beautiful and seeing the sunrise every morning was breathtaking. We had the 1 bedroom deluxe suite. It was clean and comfortable and bright.

THe stocked fridge was nice too. Our wedding ceremony was beautiful. Trishawna was our wedding coordinator and helped with the flowers, cake, music and such.

It was a small intimate ceremony, but Trishawna made it special. We were married under the decorated archway on the beach. We enjoyed champagne and cake, and then dinner at the Overproof Restaurant, which is located on a pier, and has beautiful sunsets.

The boys made friends with other teens and hung out together with their teen coordinator, with fun activities such as capture the flag at night, and 'tye & dyeing'.

Activities we enjoyed as a family were snorkeling, glass bottom boat, ping pong, waterslide and the nightly entertainment!!!

We enjoyed our 5 day stay so much we returned last year for our first anniversary, arriving to find a handmade "Welcome Back" sign on our door!!

The staff are genuinely friendly, and we knew a lot by name. We looked forward to our morning jog/walk up the mountain across the street, followed by a dip in the ocean!!Heaven!!!

We are now counting down the days to August 2 to return to FDR for our 2nd anniversary. I am very excited since we will be spending the 50 Independance Day in Jamaica!!!
