Worst Ever Christmas (2012)

This was my worst Christmas ever! I had been invited to my bff's house to spend Christmas with her family as I am in the UK for longer than expected and this was to be my first Christmas here since 2002!

However, the dreaded bug that's going around decided to catch me and I spent Christmas Day in bed feeling totally rotten and homesick.

Although when I'm home in Jamaica we don't usually celebrate as such even though my husband insists on pot roast, pan fried potatoes, rice and peas with salad as well as sorrel to drink.

I do miss the Christmas tree celebrations in the town, the stage shows, grand market and the excitement of the season which was sadly lacking in south east London amid the rain and cold.

But there's always next year to look forward to!!!!
