Oops, I forgot this! This well-loved "chrismus dung a yard" poem.

You need to read it! My daughter recited it well last Sunday!

It provides a really good idea (a reminder to the rest of us) of what the real Jamaican Christmas is really about - written in Jamaican creole!

Check it out here! https://www.my-island-jamaica.com/christmas-dung-a-yard-christmas-down-in-jamaica-the-poem.html.

Please share with your Jamaican family and friends as well. and remember, have a BLAST Christmas!

...running again -catch you later again my friend.

Regards,
Wellesley

Yes "chrismus"! A warm and friendly, old-time Jamaican, chrismus greeting to you!

Whether or not you celebrate Christmas I am sure, like I, you do love the festivities, the family togetherness and the shopping - especially the ladies, right?

And for us in Jamaica; the sharing, the church and community concerts, the colours & lights, the family and friend excursions, the fruit cake and sorrel, and just the cool 'christmas vibe'.

Christmas is indeed a special time for all of us, and so, I am pausing to wish you and yours a splendid Christmas my friend; even if you won't be in Jamaica :-)

Have a safe and 'super-duper' one my friend!

Talk to you soon.

Regards,
Wellesley
