How much do you really love Jamaica my friend? Would you consider yourself a Jamaicaholic though? (We'll trademark this term :-)

We have a number of such persons on this website, but here is one, Tina, meet her, Tina is the real Jamaicaholic :-) You'll love her vibe!

So yes in this edition I have Tina's story, suggestions about the best restaurants in Mobay, requirements for international students, and still a bit about the political muscle-building for the pending elections in December.

  • ......that The Abeng, made from a cow horn known as the Akete was the main instrument of communication among the Jamaican Maroons during the wars. They had a regular series of calls on the horn which summoned each other over great distances, such as warnings of the soldiers approaching. Even today horn-men still blow the Abeng.
