Yes, Year-Round Jamaican Fruit Cake, Plain Cakes
& Island Puddings, is actually our business name!

Our Distinctive Offerings

We specialize in authentic steamed or steam-baked 'Jamaican Fruit Cake'- all year round, not just at Christmas time, delightful plain cakes and traditional and non-traditional puddings.

Our choicer cakes includes:

  • mango-raisin cake
  • mango maple upside-down cake
  • mango carrot cake
  • carrot pineapple nut cake
  • spicy carrot cake
  • pineapple upside-down cake
  • pineapple tea cake (with crunchy coconut
    topping)
  • marmalade coconut upside-down cake
  • coconut macaroon cake
  • orange coconut cake
  • orange almond nut cake
  • banana, banana nut cake
  • cherry sandwich cake
  • pumpkin fruit cake
  • rum cake
  • jello cake
  • chocolate cake
  • chocolate chip cake
  • cheese cake
  • marble cake
  • traditional light cake
  • white chiffon cake
  • quick-mix sand cake
  • rock cake
  • peasy cake
  • gingerbread cake

Our tendency will be toward using less sugar in the recipes used. In the short to long term we will be looking at using sugarcane juice (cane juice) instead of sugar because it is considered an alkaline forming food because of the high concentration of calcium magnesium, potassium,
iron and manganese, effective in fighting cancer, especially prostate cancer and breast cancer.

It also boasts an array of other health benefits-
addressing issues such as dehydration, urinary tract
infections, kidney stones, liver problems, acidity and stomach burns, fatigue, constipation and tooth decay. It is also recommended for diabetics.

Although a newly named business, its owner (Juliet Holmes) is known among friends, family, acquaintances and
other satisfied customers especially for rendering unique and extremely pleasing, Authentic Jamaican Fruit Cakes, particularly sought after at Christmas time.
