  2. 2008 Year in Review

, let me tell you something.

As I said in the intro above, this was a very successful year form me, AND the website too!

As you may have known, the site is still in its infancy, not yet two years' old and I am amazed with the successes thus far.

    • I am getting over 100,000 page views per month, that's well over 3000 page views per day!

    • I now have well over 200 people reading this newsletter, including you :-)

    • Many of the site's pages are ranked highly in Google' search engine.

Try searching for "Jamaican animals" and see!

    • My homepage has already achieved a page rank of 3, which is great for such a young site!

    • My web pages are ever increasing, through the interactive forums

    • Plus, I continue to get excellent feedback from other site visitors.

What are they saying? Here are a few of their comments.

All that equates to an increasing profitability for the site.

In fact, my-island-jamaica.com is now paying for my Master's degree completely.

I didn't have a rich Mom or Dad, but I never needed to take out any loan either.

Although I tried hard not to, I can't help showing off. You can see it in My SBI Story!

  3. My Cafe Press Store

Although, I am studying, honestly, I can't stay away from my site.

Earlier this month, I launched my site's souvenir store on Cafe Press. Please hop over and take a look.

Make sure you grab one of our souvenir items as well! The Large Mug and the Messenger Bag are my favourite!

  4. The New 'Share the Site' page

I found a neat little tool that allows me to share my site with all my friends, and you can too!

It's easy! Check it out on my Share the Site page.
