Best Hotels In St Mary | Strawberry Fields Together St Mary

Are you heading to the banana parish of St. Mary soon and not too sure of where to stay? If you are someone who enjoys experiencing Jamaica in its most authentic form, then you will love the accommodations that St. Mary has for you.

1. Strawberry Fields Together

This 18-acre of property, which was established in the early 1970s, was regarded as one of Jamaica's most beautiful and natural gems. Strawberry Fields Together!, named after the Beatles' hit song "Strawberry Fields Forever," is known for its pristine beach coves and grounds that are perfect for camping, family reunions, fun days, destination weddings, retreats and romantic getaways.

There are 12 luxurious cottages, most of which are located on the beachfront. There’s a restaurant that provides local cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner as well.

2. Casa Maria Hotel

The tiny hamlet of Oracabessa and Port Maria are both located five minutes drive from Casa Maria, which is 16 miles from Ocho Rios. According to Casa Maria, it is the only hotel in Jamaica that faces east and the pleasant Trade Winds. With practically a steady breeze blowing right off the lake, the region is several degrees cooler than adjacent Ocho Rios. There are 20 rooms, each with a private bath or shower. Twelve have balconies with ocean views. Twin, double, or king beds are available in a variety of sleeping combinations in the rooms. On its 25 acres, Casa Maria is home to a variety of exotic fruit trees and flowering plants, including coconuts, bananas, ackee, grapefruit, pineapple, and avocados.

3. Galina Breeze Hotel

The Galina Breeze Hotel, perched on a cliff in Galina, St. Mary, is the perfect place from which to explore Jamaica's picturesque North Coast. The Galina Breeze Hotel provides guests with genuine Jamaican hospitality and a wide choice of services and amenities to make their stay as comfortable as possible.

Three different accommodation types and a villa are available at this hotel, all of which have stunning views of the Caribbean Sea and the saltwater pool.

A cool saltwater pool with views of the beach, Cliff Hanger's Snack Shop, an oceanfront patio with a fire pit, a pavilion, and a dining room, as well as a neighbourhood favourite called GB's Jerk Centre, are among the hotel's recreational offerings.

4. Tapioca Village Retreat

The Tapioca Village Retreat offers lodgings with free WiFi, free private parking, and access to a heated indoor pool. Some apartments have a dining room or seating space. Breakfast is available as a buffet or à la carte for visitors to the vacation rental. Tapioca Village retreat provides guests with an authentic Jamaican experience.

5. Tamarind Great House

The Great House provides luxurious lodging in a very green atmosphere for a reasonable price. Despite being surrounded by nature, it is near the beach and other coastal attractions.

Even though the colonial-style building, which has spacious rooms, gardens, and a wonderful location in the centre of a former plantation, is only 25 years old, it was constructed and furnished to resemble a grand mansion from the 19th century. Smoking is permitted throughout Tamarind, but not inside the guest rooms. After airport pickup, a visit to a herb house can be arranged.

One of the attractions of staying at Tamarind Great House is the meals provided on the balcony. Watch birds fly by as you savour one of Gillian's delicious breakfasts.

6. Morgans Cliff Villa

Featuring an outdoor pool, Morgan's Cliff Villa in St Mary features accommodations with free WiFi and free private parking for guests who drive. The units have air conditioning, a seating room, a cable flat-screen TV, and a kitchen. They also have a patio or balcony with views of the ocean.

A private bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer are available. The home includes a garden, a sun deck, and a private beach area. Morgan's Cliff Villa is 1.8 kilometres from Reggae Beach and 15 minutes on foot from St. Mary.
