Can I still get married in Jamaica?

by Ashley
(Kentucky)

QUESTION:

Can I still get married in Jamaica if my future husband's father's name is not on the birth certificate?

ANSWER: by Wellesley February 08, 2011

Hi there Ashley!

I checked with the RGD (Registrar General's Department) today, the government agency that manages birth, death and marriages and they confirmed that yes, it can be done.

All the best and good luck with your wedding plans.
Stay in touch.

Regards,
Wellesley
