Contest Entry #063- Happiness in Paradise

Living in Jamaica and experiencing bliss and tranquility first hand is a blessing.

We not only hold beauty in our people but we also have beauty in what is found here on this magnificent island.

From the flora and fauna to the food we eat. Jamaica land we love is Sweet. I am finally finished with college and now have the opportunity to visit more places.

Being the sheltered person that I am, I was excited when my classmate invited me to go out to eat.

We journey to a chill spot by the sea where we dined on steamed fish arrayed with luscious vegetables such as carrots and okra.

It was accompanied by Jamiacan bammy and washed down with some Jamaican Ting and White Rum! From the look on my face, it's obvious I was thoroughly pleased :-)

The soothing sea breeze flowed through my natural hair as it blew on the coconut tree in the background.. Nature at its best I would say.

I love the colour scheme and the mood of the picture. It shows us that you can be a tourist in your own homeland and enjoy yourself doing so.
