Jamckafest 2013
(June 26, 2013, St. Thomas Jamaica) Mck production is proud to present the 3rd annual staging of the JamckaFest 2013, two day Music- Fusion and Cultural Event show.
This year’s festival will be held on Monday July 1st which is the opening day of Jamcka Fest, starting off with International Reggae Day, Canada Day Celebration.
There will also be an Empowerment Fair which include Farming, Renewable Energy, Marketing & Networking and Environment Awareness and workshop for Promoters, Managers, Producers, Artistes, and other professional from the music and film industry.
There will also be presentation on Comra- Therapy Laser Treatment, Fyffe’s Enterprise: Arts exhibition, Jerk sauce, Tri Caribbean Energy and a sneak preview concert to introduce Canadian and local artistes.
Saturday July 6th will be the main event. The schedule of events begin at 12 pm, family fun day, and the continuation of the Empowerment Fair and Expo on environment and rewable energy in the day, live music and performance from cultural groups; drummers & dancers, fish fry, dance competition and a live concert featuring artistes like Prophecy, Telescope, Mark Oliver, Ogell, Wormbass, Yoga Man, Izrel, Brando Mckoy, Ras Ajai and Bunni Izik.
Jamckafest will be hosted by Mck, Big Stone, Princess Eryka and Isha.
Music by: the Mighty Upsetter & Roots Reggae Radio all the way from Canada and Super Star with DJ Grega. Backing bands; kysum Tide, Smooth Kut and Bleunote Music.
Main sponsors are Caribbean Commerce Magazine, Mckjamtv, Tri Caribbean Energy, Tri Coast Worldwide, Ire FM, Jamaica Coffee Growers Association, Zion Organic Roots and the Marcus Garvey Foundation.
