London calling (I am in self-isolation)

Amidst all the confusion that this pandemic is causing, one positive thing to take away from this is that people are showing their more humane caring side.

I’m currently self isolating through choice and have been watching video clips of people in Italy - that is in full lockdown - singing and playing instruments on their balconies.

It’s heartwarming to see that through this enforced shutdown across the world we are rediscovering the importance of our humanity.

You are so right, we see many people pulling closer everywhere. I am really glad that you took the responsible approach, as you said, to self-quarantine.

I am curious though, did you travel recently? Where exactly in London are you? What are conditions like? And how do you manage the self-quarantine process.

I am sure my readers and many here in the Jamaica (including me) as well as others in the US and other parts of the world would really appreciate some tips.

They talk a lot about preventing and cleaning, but not much about situations like this (feeling sick, isolation or quarantine)
