romantic locations in jamaica - wellesley and wifeQUESTION:
Hello Wellesley,
My wife and I will be in Jamaica for a week.

During that time, she will be celebrating her birthday.

What is the, or one of the, most romantic location(s) that I could take her to celebrate her birthday? We're staying in Ochie, but I'm willing to take a taxi to another part of the island if need be.

Do you know of any restaurants that have a good view of the ocean and the sunset?

Looking forward to our visit! Take care and thanks for all of the info you provide.

Hi Jason,

Rest assured, you'll be in the right country my friend! We have some of the most iconic places & activities for romance.

How about watching the majestic sunsets from Rick's Cafe then having a candlelight dinner at Xtabi- both are in the lovely town of Negril?. That's a sure bet!

You may also want to consider YS falls on the south coast, rafting on the Martha Brae or the Rio Grande for your day activities.

There is also the beautiful blue lagoon in Port Antonio and the mystical Glistening water attraction on the north coast.

If you haven't already read them, please see my visitors best hidden attractions in Jamaica as well as their travel stories. You'll get some great insights there.

By the way, make sure you stay close, I'll be sharing these and many other travel tips, cautions and suggestions in my new Jamaica Travel Guide (book version).

Whatever you do, enjoy it to the fullest my friend!

Please pass on my best 'Happy Birthday' wishes to your wife too. I am confident you are giving her one of her best birthday presents :-)
