My Jamaican Dream
by Jen
(United Kingdom)
Hi, I was just here reminiscing and wondering if I will make my dream to live and be a part of the same Jamaican dream, when I read your page.
I needed to see some pics of that beautiful island to reassure me so did a search and there your site was!
A bit about me....I'm British born. My parents are Guyanese but I've been coming to Jamaica often, sometimes up to 3 times a year!
I recently bought some land in Discovery Bay and have been in Saudi Arabia working as an ESL teacher to make the money to build my house.
I also want to contribute to the island in some way, would like a kind of eco-friendly aspect to something or other?? but for now just musing and hoping I'll make it there for
Christmas.
I had a few financial disappointments so am trialing in my schedule to live in Jamaica.
I love the
JBM idea. I had an similar idea in the 90s to see if they franchised out. This was BEFORE the Costa revolution.
I love music and want to do something blessed in this field. How you can help - you ask!
Well I'd like to get in touch with any charities or potential expats planners that are looking to start something that a)contributes, b) earns a small amount or at least covers costs, and c) embraces all of what Jamaica is about.
Stay blessed and have a great day... Jen
