I pray that you find your relatives. Your family did not want to acknowldege Jamaica because it would have been bad for them in Canada. Canada favours the European race more than it would for the Islands. Your family did not want to connect themselves to any race that was predominantly black.

This is an amazing store David. I really pray that u will find ur relatives and reunite with them. This can definately answer questions, heal the soul and bring closer to many of ur situations. Thanks Wellesley - Would it be possible to also post this on the Family Contact page as well?

I saw the link to the telephone numbers. Do you know any way to get the email addresses of some of these people? Long distance to Jamaica can be expensive.

And I plan to visit this winter, if possible, to follow up on any leads and connect with lost family.
