Contest Entry #068- This is Jamaica
Recently I visited an aunt in Greenwood, St. James for a family reunion.
While touring her lovely home, the view through her bedroom window grabbed my attention.
At that time, I did not have my camera on me, but I demanded that I be taken back there the next day to capture such amazing scenery.
I laid in bed that night, unable to sleep because of how excited I was to go back the next afternoon. The view was incredible.
It was so calming to just sit on the balcony and watch the trembling leaves and to be entertained by the waves as they danced in the sea.
How could I ever give up such beauty to live anywhere else in this world? I am no painter, but the view surely inspires me to grab a piece of canvas and paint and get to work! This is Jamaica, the land of wood and water.
