Contest Entry #078- Trident Castle, Portland.
This is the most beautiful hotel in east Portland in Jamaica. Its called Trident Castle Hotel.
It is run by John Baker, the manager at Geejam hotel and the new Trident hotels.
It is right on the water and had been featured in music videos, even recently Snoop Dog was staying there and promoted a video filmed there.
The castle was also the location of an episode of Catwalk, a fashion runway show.
As a Portlander, my favorite part of the castle is when I pass it at night as they have beautiful colour lights flashing all over it.
Lots of people, including tourist, stop along the seawall near it and take pictures but this picture was taken from mockingbird hill for a more overhead view.
When I see the trident castle I think about royalty, celebrities, fun and excitement but I do sometimes wonder about the history of it and who built this wonderful building, and why.
