where can I get the Jamaica national dress or the material

Where can I buy the national dress or the material?
ANSWER: by Wellesley Gayle January 4, 2010
You mean the bandana right?
I am not sure if you'll easily find the ready-made dress in stores, but you can surely find the material in any of the top fabric stores in Jamaica.
These include Fabric Smart, Pablos and LP Azar.
There are scores of local designers, tailors and dressmakers who can develop it for you.
If you need ideas, the JCDC offices may be able to direct you further.
The contacts are: 876 952-1134 - Montego Bay and 876 926-5726 - Kingston.
I hope that helps.
Stay in touch.
P.S. It may not be easily found online.
