Negril is without a doubt the place for the perfect beach vacation in Jamaica, that is where everyone heads to, but that doesn’t mean that Ocho Rios isn’t as equally wonderful. There are many gorgeous beaches in Ocho Rios and its surroundings.

Shaw Park Beach

Shaw Park Beach in Ocho Rios can be the ideal location for you if you're seeking a really quiet beach to spend the day at. A beach chair away from a restaurant and bar, where the food and drinks are fairly priced.

You may see someone offering you a great price for a rafting session while they stroll the beach. Shaw Park Beach is mostly accessible through Kaz Kreol Beach Lodge, and visitors to that establishment use it more regularly.

However, getting to the beach even if you're not staying at Kaz Kreol Beach Lodge is easy; all it will cost you is a little entrance fee.

Sugar Pot Beach

Bamboo Beach Club is only a short distance from Sugar Pot Beach. Without the frequently boisterous entertainment, it offers the same serene ocean vistas of the Caribbean Sea, white sands, and tropical vegetation.

You can still see some artefacts at the location, which is the former location of the Ocho Rios fight, as you study local Jamaican history. Additionally, the Sugar Pot Beach Restaurant offers a wide variety of delectable culinary options if you are hungry.

Dunns River Beach

A stunning half-mile-long beach called Dunns River Beach is situated below the town's well-known waterfalls. Due to its location at the base of the falls, one of Jamaica's most well-known tourist destinations, Dunn's River Beach is frequently disregarded.

When you reach the top of the steep hill, you might be too exhausted to go back down to the beach, but it might be exactly the location you're looking for to relax in the sun or go snorkelling. It's one of those Ocho Rios beaches that shouldn't be missed because of the gorgeous vista and blue waves.

Take full advantage of this opportunity if you have the time since access to the beach is included in the price of admission to climb the falls.

Bamboo Beach Club

Another well-liked tourist destination in Ocho Rios is the Bamboo Beach Club, formerly known as Reggae Beach. One of the island's most distinctive beach experiences is offered by Bamboo Beach Club.

You'll be kept entertained all day long by costumed acrobats, reggae drummers, singers, and Jamaican dancers with all-inclusive food and drink packages.

The beach is somewhat rocky near the shore, however, there are several locations (on the far right or left of the beach) where you may have a great time swimming in the Caribbean Sea.

Fisherman’s Beach

Ocho Rios was a fishing town before it developed into a bustling city. Fishermen's Beach will serve as a good reminder of Ocho Rios' beginnings. The modest public beach is lined with colourfully painted fishing boats.

Keep an eye out for the fishermen and explore some of the nearby restaurants for seafood and rum. The eateries that line the shoreline also offer opulent dining options.

Turtle Bay Beach

The primary beach in Ocho Rios is Bay Beach, which is situated in the heart of the city. You won't have very far to travel if you choose to stay in the town.

Ocho Rios Bay Beach has white sands, stunning, tranquil waters, and a variety of activities. Although there is a little entrance fee, the beach is equipped to host the family for a pleasant day at the beach.

If you forgot to pack food, there are plenty of little stores and eateries around where you can grab something to eat. If you wish to explore the undersea world, pack your equipment as the waters off-shore are excellent for snorkelling.

Bamboo Blu Beach

You can get some of the best seafood and cocktails as well as one of the most picturesque views of the ocean, here.

The Bamboo Blu Beach is a secluded location that stands out for its oceanfront dining experience and for highlighting the true beauty of the island. It also provides above-average service, relaxation and mouthwatering cuisine.

All visitors can find comfort at the Bamboo Blu Beach, which is particularly well renowned for hosting private events. The Caribbean Sea's coastline is lined with palm trees that dance in the wind. We think the 10-minute drive from Ocho Rios is worthwhile.
