We loooove football! (we actually say 'football' not soccer). In my background to football in Jamaica I highlight that.
And although Jamaica didn't make it this time to the showpiece event in Brazil, Jamaicans (home and abroad) are still captivated by the event; following every event, watching every match and has a point to make about every and any disputable incident in the game.
By the way, most of us a 'bring a team', meaning has an, is supporting a favourite team. And based on my on the ground experience, I would say the two most supported teams here are Brazil and Argentina.
There are also strong support for Germany, England, Netherlands and France.
Of course, the sort of patriotic support of the African teams are still strong.
