I had the pleasure of meeting, and touring the facility with the hard-working team just prior to their opening, I tell you, they really oozed with passion and excitement for this place. A first of its type in the Caribbean, the project was jointly co-founded by David Hall, former CEO of Digicel and Carlos Moleon who moved from Spain to Jamaica.

Not only does the facility accommodate the discerning VIP/ Business Class traveller, but it also caters to the regular tourist who is looking for an interesting and memorable way to finish their holiday here.

What's special about this attraction?

It provides an array of Jamaican cultural exhibits. It provides supreme levels of comfort and an exceptionally high level of customer service. It is a world-class facility to relax, play, communicate, work, eat and drink, and even a small spa!

What is included with Club Mobay?

  • Complimentary snacks and drinks of choice (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)
  • Unlimited free wireless internet access
  • Secretarial services, eg. printing, faxing etc.
  • Up-to-date flight information via tannoy announcements and fid monitors
  • Complimentary games
  • A noise-proof children's corner with appropriate facilities
  • Access to changing facilities and showers, particularly for those who want a last-minute change out of the leisurewear (or coming from the beach!) prior to boarding.
  • A personal escort to the departure gate and a whole lot more

This cultural display includes a historical progression of Jamaica's talents and important dates. Talents here include our notable musicians, politicians and sports personalities.

One significant benefit of the lounge is that it provides preferential, and therefore speedier, fast-track access through customs and security areas. Along with that, I must mention that the lounge facilities cater to those with special needs and you can also take your emotional support animal with you.

Did I mention the bar? Yup, an open is available for customers to enjoy their favourite drinks, which include hot Jamaican coffee and a wide selection of wines.

What is the cost of Club Mobay?

For Club Mobay, infants (under 2 years) are free. The prices below do not include airport transfers and spa services.

For VIP Meet & Greet Arrival Services

  • $50 per adult,
  • $25 per child (2-12 years old)

For Departure Services

  • $30 per adult
  • $20 per child

For Bundle Services

  • $80 per adult
  • $40 per child

How do you use Club Mobay in Jamaica?

If you are using Club Mobay’s arrival services, upon arrival you will find a club Mobay agent waiting for you, holding a paddle with your name on it. They will be there right by your side until it's time for you to leave. If you are using the departure service, once you locate the Club Mobay desk, an agent will escort you to the lounge where all your needs will be taken care of until it's time for you to board your flight.

Can you smoke in Club Mobay?

No, you cannot. Smoking is not allowed.

Do you pay for food at Club Mobay?

No, you do not, food and drink are complimentary.

In an interview with Mr. Hall, he indicated that the idea came from an intensive and valuable four-week research that they conducted. They noticed for example, that 94% of visitors were happy about their visit...until they reached the airport! It was also evident that the business class needed a business lounge and that 50% of visitors never got to see a real Jamaican attraction, whether because of time or money!

Well, this exciting facility will provide the perfect solution, he asserted. And it has if the numerous reviews are anything to go by. Club Kingston, the sister lounge at the Norman Manley International airport, opened sometime after Club Mobay. Both attractions are managed by VIP Attractions.

The Club Mobay Arrival Lounge operates from Monday to Sunday between the hours of 06:00 AM and 08:00 PM while the Departure lounge operates Monday to Sunday from 06:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Contact them by email at customercare@vipattractions.com or by phone at 1876 619-1565/ 1-954-837-6290.
