(Lucea, Hanover, Jamaica)
The Jamaica Agricultural Society (JAS) Hanover Association of Branch Societies (HABS), the pioneers for agricultural development and sustainability in the parish of Hanover and the home parish, for the first time of the reigning National Farm Queen, are proud to present the 4th Annual Hanover Agricultural Show.
It will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at the Jockey Factory, in Lucea, Hanover.
The theme is : “Agriculture: Producing More, Conserving More, Improving Lives”.
The Show is the only one of its kind in the parish and is recognized nationally.
Through our show we are also able to advance the interest of local farmers, manufacturers and producers, as well as provide an avenue for the exploration of the best that the Parish has to offer in the areas of agriculture, business, tourism and entertainment while fostering opportunities for advertising, marketing and trade (local and international).
Our Show over the last three (3) years impacted over 3000 lives including that of our farmers, youths and women.
2019 promises to be the best yet, impacting even more lives.
Highlights include delicious Jamaican food, the Parish Farm Queen Competition, Farmers' Market, Exhibitions, Plant and Livestock Display, Kiddies Village, Youth Involvement/Innovation, Dramatic Play, Guest Artistes and Live Entertainment.
We value the wonderful partnership with MICAF, SDC, RADA and 4H.
We also appreciate the faithful sponsorship of Hi-Pro, Geddes Grant, H&L Agro and new for 2019, Juci Patties.
It will be held between the hours of 8am to 10:30pm Saturday May 25, 2019. Let's have some fun!
