What you need to know:
- Drivers must be between the ages of 21 and 75 to operate a car, and between the ages of 25 and 75 to operate a premium SUV, van, or bus.
- For those between the ages of 23 and 75, a driver's license must be at least one year old; for those under 23, it must be three years old.
- The person's driver's license must be at least three years old to operate buses, vans, and luxury SUVs to be allowed to drive their vehicles as their insurers currently do not provide coverage.
- They do not allow smoking in their vehicles.
- For car rental services, there are no cancellation penalties. For Private Transfers or other reserved ground transportation services, however, when they have not received advance notice that the chauffeur is no longer required, a cancellation fee may be charged.
- Hearing-impaired people will not be permitted to operate their vehicles because their insurers do not currently offer coverage.
- At the start of the rental, a full tank deposit is required. To receive a refund, just bring a full tank back.
- Island Car Rental Jamaica will take care of all your transportation needs.
