JAMAICA STATISTICS SYMPOSIUM (JASSYM) and PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP 2015
October 28-30, 2015 in Kingston, Jamaica
As part of continuing efforts to provide an opportunity for individuals from all sectors of society to be exposed to the best methods of management, analysis, interpretation and application the findings from data, JAMAICA STATISTICS SYMPOSIUM (JASSYM) and PRE-CONFERENCE WORKSHOP 2015 will be held from October 28-30, 2015 in Kingston, Jamaica.
The symposium will feature oral and poster presentations by specialists in systematic review statistics, social and gender equity issues, quantification of disease burden and health indicators as well as other areas of research.
There will also be seminars and training workshops that will equip participants to manage and analyse data with the ultimate aim of producing systematic reviews, carrying out the relevant meta-analyses and effecting the appropriate knowledge translation.
We will use this meeting to highlight the appropriate use of statistical methodology to analyse data in order to inform policy and production.
A call for papers will soon be sent out and we anticipate your full participation by way of oral or poster presentations as well as filling other roles as we seek your assistance.
