Jamaican Nurses Wanted In UK
by Giorgos Tsimpiropoulos
Important Note: Regarding the nurses, as employers do sponsorships, the nationality is indifferent.
We are currently seeking candidates to work nationwide in the UK to operate as Band 5 Nurses.
Specifically, we are seeking General Nurses, ICU & Theatre Nurses in particular but are open to candidates from other specialties.
Salary for a Band 5 nurse ranges from £21,909- £28,462 dependent on experience. There is also on site accommodation available for candidates. Paid air ticket as well.
In order to be considered, candidates must have the following:
•Candidates must obtain level 7 in all categories of the IELTS Academic examination in order to be eligible to start their application with the Nursing & Midwifery Council. If a candidate started their NMC application prior to 18th January 2016, this will not be a requirement.
Candidates that have not obtained IELTS scores of 7 in each category and have not started NMC application prior to January 18th will not be considered for a client interview.
•Candidates will need to have obtained successful completion of a three-year undergraduate education and training programme or equivalent. This can include Nursing degrees and diplomas.
•Candidates must have at least 6 months’ post graduate experience operating as a nurse.
For any candidates who wish to relocate to the UK but do not have the IELTS level required to register for the NMC, they will be able to apply for live in care positions in the UK which will enable then to progress with English communication whilst they prepare for their IELTS examination, if that is a route that is desirable .
