by Rosemarie Greene
(Spanish Town, Jamaica)

Marcus Garvey is a man whose contribution to the world is still not fully understood because we have not documented it very well.

Could we have a forum (discussion) on it please?

Marcus the man of his day.
by: Jean Anita Fray

Marcus Garvey was indeed a remarkable Black skin Man who understood his ancestry.

I was a member of the board of the Marcus Garvey Center for Education and Leadership in North york, Ontario, Canads. for six years.

We tried our best to get the children to understand where he was coming from, due to lack of finance from the ontario gov. and City of Toronto we lost the one building that was greatly needed to educate black skin children and make them feel proud to be black.

I got interested in Marcus Garvey when my 83 year old uncle started visiting me in the eighties from New york and filled me with some astonishing happenings in New York with the Marcus Garvey Organiztion in the early days.

Check Trinidad Heroes and find lots of info about the Marcus Garvey center I am speaking about in Ghana.
