Miss St. James Festival Queen Crowns This Sunday

The 2013 Miss St. James Festival Queen coronation show will be held on Sunday, May 19th 2013 at the Montego Bay Convention Center here in Montego Bay, Jamaica beginning at 8:00pm.
It will be held under the theme, 'Jamaican Women Shaping our Culture and Our Nation.'
The evening will showcase nine (9) young ladies from across the parish who have become cultural ambassadors and will be vying for the coveted crown plus prizes in excess of Three Hundred Thousand Dollars (300,000).
Sectional prizes will be awarded in the following categories: Most Culturally Aware, Most Community Involved, and Best Performer.
A fantastic entertainment package awaits you with performances from the contestants in song, speech, dance and drama.
The 'Blow Wow' band, with an impressive list of female performers will provide additional entertainment.
Presold tickets are available at the following locations: JCDC parish office, RADA Complex, Catherine Hall; Di Foto Shoppe and Clinicare Pharmacy.
Last year (2012), Miss Rochelle-Lee Fagan (centre in picture above) won the title. She was nestled by first runner-up Nandi Levy (left) and second runner-up Olivia Dwyer (in photo).
In the meantime, twenty-three year old Neika Lewis was crowned the 2013 Miss Trelawny Festival Queen on Sunday, May 12, 2013 (second photo above) at Club Vibes in Falmouth in the parish.
Winners of the parish finals move on to represent their parish in the national final.
