Online ESL Teacher (Freelance Position)

Availability: The following are our peak times:
-Mondays: 5:00 pm CST and 8:00 pm CST
-Tuesdays: 7:00 pm CST and 8:00 pm CST
-Wednesdays: 7:30 pm CST
-Thursdays: 5:00 pm CST

Payment: USD $10-12/hour (Payments are sent via PayPal).

Benefits: Work from home, we provide the lesson material.

Tasks:
Delivering one on one sessions through Skype and focusing on the student’s speaking and interaction in English.
Creating a practical, interactive, respectful and fun learning environment.
Supporting student learning by providing valuable and written feedback after each session.

Requirements:

Native English speaker.
Foreign language teaching qualification (i.e. TEFL, CELTA, TESOL).
Minimum 3-month or equivalent combination of ESL/EFL teaching experience, including part-time, volunteer, community and coaching activities.
Ability to commit to a fixed schedule for a minimum of three months. (You are free to choose the time).

Preferred Skills (not mandatory):

Conversational level in Spanish or Portuguese
Business or technology background

Technical Requirements:

– At least 5Mbps speed internet connection

– Laptop/desktop computer

– Headset

– Webcam (HD recommended 720P+) Digital or analog (3.5mm)

Location: Anywhere, no special work permissions required
