Accommodations in Negril are not hard to find, however when searching for somewhere to spend your vacation you might be bombarded by large over the top resorts. If this is not your style and you rather be somewhere quieter and in touch with nature then the Whistling Bird is for you.

Whistling Bird is a one-of-a-kind island resort with a lush, mature setting. They specialize in trip planning that is tailored to your specific needs. They encourage guests to arrange their vacations directly with them to ensure that they get exactly what they want out of their island vacation.

Vacation packages can be tailored to you and your vacation needs, ensuring that you get the greatest hotel, drink plan, and meal plans to suit your desires. Pickup from the airport is also possible once requested.

Accommodations at the Whistling Bird

Cottages are strewn over the site, hidden among the tropical gardens in their own quiet spaces. All of their cottages are unique in their own way, but they're all meant to provide their guests with a true Jamaican experience.

The cottages are named after Jamaican birds, such as the "Nightingale" and "Parakeet." Cottages come in three sizes: one room, two rooms, and three rooms. When you enter your cottage, you will be greeted by exclusive and unusual architecture, as well as considerable use of wood and local art. The hardwood floors in many of these cottage rooms are in the shape of an octagon.

Other features include cupola-topped vaulted ceilings and massive "A" frame doors. Natural resources such as bamboo, rock, and native woods have been used in the overall design of numerous homes. The design is both natural and fresh, as well as attractive.

• Oversized walk-in showers evoke the feel of natural rain or a waterfall.

Drinking and Dining at the Whistling Bird Negril

The Whistling Bird restaurant and bar are located on the resort's beachfront. This is a fantastic place to unwind with an island beverage while admiring the magnificent beach and sea breeze.

The dining is great, and it serves real Jamaican cuisine. It is one of the best places to eat in Negril. The coconut chicken is a speciality, but there's more.

The Jamaican Rock Lobster, Steam Fish, or any other meal on their menu are all quite delicious. Gourmet magazine and Islands magazine have both featured them. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner are served at the Whistling Bird's restaurant.

Fresh Blue Mountain coffee, which is a Jamaican trademark and speciality, is offered at the bar every morning.

Weddings and Other Events at the Whistling Bird Negril
