Working at the Correctional Services Co-op Credit Union as a Member Service Representative (October 2013-February 2014) then as an Accounting Clerk (March 2014-Present). I dealt with customer queries, processing and disbursing loans, creating journals, using the Emortelle system, payables, reconciliation, internet banking among other accounting duties.
August 13, 2013 – August 30, 2013
Worked at the Ministry of Education in the School’s Financial Services Department (Teachers Salaries Region 3). I was mainly exposed to payroll duties. I also did customer service and data entry duties.
June 3, 2013 - June 28, 2013
Worked at the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority as a summer worker for three weeks. I was placed in the Accounts Department where I worked in the payables section. I also gained experience in using the accounting software Microsoft Great Plains.
August 2012
Worked at The Registrar General’s Department doing filing, office duties and accounting work on the NYS Summer Employment Programme.
Sept-Nov 2011
Updating the cashbook and doing bank reconciliation of Principal Mr. Michael Blair of Bermaddy Primary School in 2011 and other office duties.
July 2008
Working as a file clerk and sometimes as a telephone operator for Knox Community College (Spalding Campus) on the NYS Summer Employment Programme in the department of Student Affairs in 2008.
2007-2009
Working for the Teen Herald as a part - time writer.
