Airbnb has been around for quite a while and is now one of the major sources for seeking and booking accommodations for both local and international travellers.

Since 2007, when its co-founders first proposed inviting paying guests to sleep on an air mattress in their living room, the company has come a long way. According to the most recent data, Airbnb has over six million listings in over 100,000 cities and towns across 220 countries.

Register as a sole proprietor with the Companies Office of Jamaica - This isn't required, but it can help if you need business financing.
Set up a state-of-the-art property - Spend money on attractive fixtures, decorations, and amenities for your listing. Also, invest in Human Resources and other elements that will allow visitors to feel at ease and want to return.

Respond to feedback and improve - Read the reviews and interact with your visitors. They give you valuable insight into things you might have missed.
Potential for Income - The Airbnb website allows you to set your own pricing and adjust it as needed during peak seasons. There's even a "Smart Pricing" tool that considers local demand and can assist you in determining the appropriate amount to charge.
Rental income can fluctuate because hosts charge per night, but hosts can still earn significantly more with a vacation rental than with a traditional tenancy contract.
