Portland, Jamaica, is the place to be if you intend to truly connect with nature. Some of the most beautiful, serene attractions on the island are found in Portland. So, it is no surprise that both visitors and locals frequent the parish.
However, unlike the other tourist areas in Jamaica, Portland does not have many imposing 5-star resorts, (part of the unedited natural charm of the town). Instead, what you will find are more homely, private accommodations, many of which are big on being environmentally friendly.
