Best Hotels in Montego Bay - Luxury
1. Half Moon
The is no denying the luxury of the Half Moon Golf Resort. With rooms and suites ranging in luxury to private guest houses on the property for an even more secluded vacation. And even though usually the restaurant at the hotel is simply that, the restaurants at Half Moon, especially Sugar Mill, are listed among the best restaurants in Montego Bay.
The hotel is not all-inclusive. However, they have packages that can apply an all-inclusive experience if that is what you wish.
The entire family can enjoy this resort as well as they have an impressive children’s package as well as tons of exciting activities for children.
The golf course is one of the best in Jamaica, and if you are an amateur you can make use of the golf instructors at the resort.

2. Secrets St. James and Wild Orchid
Secrets Resorts St. James and Wild Orchid definitely have a more luxurious and secluded vibe. Couples or singles looking to get away for a while can definitely consider Secrets resorts.
The Pevonia Spa is a must-try with its Swedish massages and massages by the beach.
Craving for a little water excursion? There are beachside games, motorised and non-motorised sporting activities at your beck and call.
Food is never a worry either, there are 9 restaurants, two swim-up bars and 24-hour room service.
They both have varying levels of guests. Guests of both resorts have unrestricted access to either one and who doesn’t love a two-for-one deal, especially at a resort? Preferred Club guests also have access to party hotel Breathless Montego Bay Resort & Spa, located nearby.

3. Sandals Royal Caribbean
Sandals has three resort locations in Montego Bay, but the Royal Caribbean is the most luxurious with no shortage of extravagant, butler-included rooms and suites.
Often when we think overwater bungalows, we immediately think of Bora Bora, but they are right here in Montego Bay too. Did I mention they were on a private island?
As if that wasn’t enough, Sandals has a “stay at one, play at all policy”, so there are trips to and from the Sandals resorts in the area, (Sandals Montego Bay and Sandals Inn (Carlyle), to ensure that each guest gets the true Sandals experience.

4. Round Hill Resort
Just like Stella got her groove back, you can too at the beautiful Round Hill Resort located on the outskirts of Montego Bay. The resort manages to do luxury without it being ostentatious. The over 100-acre property has a collection of understated luxury villas and oceanfront rooms.
You can have the best of both worlds with lush vegetation behind you and the stunning Caribbean Sea ahead. The best place to experience the best of nature on the property is at the spa, nestled in the tropical hillside above the sea or the suites tucked into the hillside.
The nannies on the property make it a little easier for parents to enjoy quality time away from the children to reconnect.
The resort also has a few unique activities such as afternoon tea, where you can choose to socialise with other friends and families. Who knows you might meet a new friend.
The resort is not all-inclusive.

Best Affordable Hotels In Montego Bay
Royal Decameron
The beachside hotel is located on the Hip Strip, the centre of all things entertainment in Montego Bay. The all-inclusive accommodations have 136 standard rooms which are quite affordable and 8 deluxe rooms which are a little on the pricey side but they do offer a privileged view of the Caribbean Sea.
Your vacation starts as soon as you land with just 6 minutes of travel time between Sangster’s International and the resort.
Get ready to enjoy all the Hip Strip has to offer in terms of restaurants, shopping and entertainment with notable names like Usain Bolt’s Tracks and Records, Coral Cliff Marguerit’s and Margaritaville.
The famed Doctor’s Cave beach is located right beside Starbucks. All these attractions are within walking distance of the hotel.
S Hotel
The 120-room resort was opened quite recently. But since 2019, it has quickly become a favourite for locals and tourists alike. Located on the famed Hip Strip, you will have entertainment and the best of duty-free shopping right at your fingertips.
S Hotel guests also have privileged entrance to Doctor’s Cave Beach.
