If you are looking for boutique hotel accommodations, then I think it is safe to assume you are trying to find small, personal hotels with a relaxing atmosphere and familiar faces every day. In most cases, boutique hotels are not all-inclusive, there are only a few boutique all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica. Here are 5 options you can consider for your next trip.

1. Zoetry Wellness And Spa Resorts - Montego Bay

Zoetry Montego Bay is a part of the AMR Collection of resorts. This award-winning boutique resort is known for the personalized and luxurious experience it provides its guests. With 49 rooms, you never have to worry about overcrowded spaces.

They have two categories of suites, Master and Junior. Master suites come with an ocean view and a soaking tub while Junior suites have varying views from garden views with soaking tubs to ocean views with swim-out suites or soaking tubs. There is something for everyone.

They describe their all-inclusive features as having endless privileges, something that is quite evident. With 24-hour laundry services, nightly turndown services, unlimited food and drinks, housekeeping services three times daily, Wi-Fi and unlimited worldwide calling.

They seem to have thought about every little detail of your trip before you have. Zoetry Montego Bay prides itself on providing the balance between luxury and relaxation for its guests. Their Spa by Pevonia is proof of this. It provides various massages, facials, body exfoliating and body wraps. After all this, you can relax in one of the indoor massage cabins with showers, a peaceful garden, a steam room/sauna. Don't forget you grab a drink and a bite to eat at the Spa’s juice bar; Soul.

Small dogs are welcomed. So you can bring your furry friend with you, it might need a vacation too. This comes with specific rooms though.

All you have to do after you have reserved the room with this feature is phone ahead to make the necessary preparations, and your dog will be in just as much luxury as you experience. Dogs will be given food and water bowls, as well as spa-approved dog beds and toys as well!

What is the check-in and check-out time at Zoetry?

Check-In is 3:00 pm and check-out is at noon. But for Endless privileges members, there isn’t one! Isn’t that just great? There are no set check-in or check-out times to follow. You can just go at your own pace and not fuss about the time.

Is Zoetry Montego Bay Adult-Only?

No it isn’t, children are welcomed. However, it is not the first choice when vacationing with children as there are no on-property activities specifically for children.

2. Deja Resort - Montego Bay

The advantage of staying at this resort is that you’ll be right in the middle of all the festivities of the Mobay Hip Strip. Margaritaville, Coral Cliff, Doctor’s Cave Beach and Usain Bolt’s Track and Records are all within a 2-3 minute walk from this resort.

In the mood for a longer trek?  You can walk to the nearby Montego Fort, Harmony Beach Park or experience life in downtown Montego Bay like a real Jamaican which are all just 10 minutes away from the hotel. 

They have Superior rooms, Junior Rooms and King Suites, which all come with different privileges. Superior rooms have a four-person maximum capacity offering either an ocean view or mountain view in the city.

Junior Suites give you a private balcony which is perfect for an intimate breakfast, lunch or dinner check-up. The room fits 4 people. At Deja Resorts the King Suite has the most amenities by far. It includes turn-down and concierge services. King Suites are located on their own block, have their own terrace and seating area for even more privacy and exclusivity. There are even additional amenities. Each room has the capacity to host 2 persons at a time.

The common amenities are spa services. an outdoor pool, hot tub, business centre, meeting room, conference facilities, kids’ club and fitness centre.

How Far Is Deja All-Inclusive Resort From The Airport?

Again, the location of the resort works in everyone’s favour. When leaving from Deja Resort to the Sangster’s International Airport or vice versa, it will take you 5 minutes during off-peak periods. During rush hour, however, you must allow yourself some time to get to the airport and not leave at the last minute since at peak periods you could be stuck in traffic for some time.

Deja isn’t only a great option for boutique all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, they also offer excellent family-friendly vacations as well.

3. S Hotel - Montego Bay

This beachside property is certainly the most luxurious of the hotels located on the famed Hip Strip of Montego Bay. With just 120 rooms and suites, S Hotel is perfect for sequestered bliss even though it is located on one of the busiest streets in Montego Bay.

They have four types of accommodations at this resort; the Basic City View King, Ocean View Deluxe Double, Ocean View Junior Suite King, Sky Suite Ocean View Spa. 

• The Basic City King - sleeps 2 and gives great views of the Hip Strip. These suites are often used by those persons on business trips, who are not exactly here for the views but still need basic features of the all-inclusive such as in-room dining and laundry services.

• Ocean View Junior King - this ocean-view suite comes with an oversized bathroom, equipped with three showerheads, one for each guest the suite can fit. If you would prefer a soak instead of a quick shower then feel free to use the free-standing soaking tub. Enhance your bath even more with the spa amenities included in the suite accommodations.

• Ocean View Deluxe Double - With two double beds and an oversized shower, it is perfect for groups of families or friends travelling together. All three guests will wake up to ocean views which is the perfect start to the day. Enjoy a few peaceful minutes on the private balcony just before you start your day or after a long day of excitement and adventure.

• Sky Ocean View Spa Suite - Not only do you get views of the Caribbean Sea from the room itself, but you can also have a soak in your freestanding tub while enjoying it just the same. Your walk-in shower comes equipped with special spa amenities. This room also comes with a large tastefully furnished balcony where you can sit and relax at any time throughout the day. Sky Suite guests have access to the Sky Deck. The Sky Deck is the perfect place to have a drink in the evenings. There is nothing better than the view of the sunset from the 5th-floor rooftop bar. 

Each room is equipped with air conditioning, a safety deposit box, complimentary Wi-Fi, a direct-dial phone, a multi-plug USB connection device, satellite TV, a coffee maker, complimentary bottled water, hairdryers & robes, to enhance the comforts and the overall experience at the S hotel.

Restaurants and Bars

• Rocksteady - Regional and International Seafood Dishes for lunch and dinner. It is open from 11:30 am to 10 pm.


• Market Place - Locally inspired dishes served buffet-style and or Caribbean and International a la carte options. This breakfast spot is open from 7:30 to 10 am.


• Pool Bar & Grill - Serves top-shelf drinks and cocktails right at the bar. You can grab a snack while you soak in the sun too. Get your done to order sandwiches, pizza and other grilled specialties, salads and of course healthy snack options as well. If you would rather not have alcohol, request a fresh juice with your meal instead.


• Sky Deck Pool & Bar - Join the exclusive Sky Deck located on the 5th and 6th floors. You’ll have enviable views of the Caribbean Sea and an infinity pool surrounded by cabanas and loungers to accommodate relaxation while you sip on your favourite cocktail from the bar.

Health & Wellness

They have a state of the art fitness centre to ensure you keep up your healthy habits and stick to your fitness goals even while on vacation. For motivation, you will have views of the Caribbean Sea while you work out. 

You must try the Irie Spa for a relaxing time, using a traditionally Jamaican approach to wellness.

4. Sunset At The Palms - Negril

This property packs a lot into its 84 rooms. Sunset at the Palms is a small hotel with big luxuries. What’s even better, the rooms and suites are the most luxurious of treehouses with king-size beds, large living spaces and surrounded by nature, which you can enjoy from the balcony.

The main decision behind choosing your accommodations in the hotel is the number of persons in your group. The Treetop Deluxe Suites sleep two persons in a king-size bed, and the Treetop Suites sleep four persons with 1 king-size and two daybeds. 

They both come with ample living space for all the persons it is designed to accommodate.

For entertainment, you can look forward to the day and nighttime activities, which include a cocktail manager’s party and live Reggae music on the property on certain weeknights.

It is quite unusual for boutique all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica to have this many restaurant options but Sunset at the Palms has truly outdone itself with 4 restaurants and 3 bars. They offer every dining option from formal dinners to poolside bars and grills. Lotus Leaf and Chef’s showcase are the only two that require a reservation.

There is no need to choose between all-inclusive amenities and small intimate resorts, there are boutique all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, where you can have both.
