Competent Service Technicians In Jamaica | Where Can I Find Them?
Another avid reader, Fitz, emailed me a question earlier about finding competent service technicians in Jamaica.
I responded to him, but also got his permission to share the question, and my response with my readers - while allowing others to make their recommendation as well.
As a former boss said, what one is asking, other are asking as well.
Here's his question...
Good day Mr. Gayle,
Congrats on your growing platform and all the best as you continue to develop it.
I am looking for local technicians that I can call upon to take care of servicing and repairs at my property in St. James.
At the moment, I need someone to service and potentially repair a solar water heater and a backup generator.
I have found it difficult so far to locate dependable professionals skilled in these areas.
Do you partner with any such individuals, or do you have a directory listing service providers?

Thanks for the commendation Fitz - and for the question.
Can I be honest with you? Finding qualified service technicians and in fact, quality skilled labour here is a real challenge these days my friend.
And so, I've not been able to forge a partnership as yet.
The company I last worked with, by the way, was searching for one for over 2 years - to no avail!
That said, I have a gentleman in mind. He is extremely competent at general maintenance, welding and stuff like that. The problem is he is always busy with projects.
I'll reach our to him and ask his permission to share his contact with you if he is able and willing provide these services.
Or, if not able, if he has any contacts he'd recommend since he is in that industry.
UPDATE
I spoke to him and he unhesitatingly asked me to share his contact. It is 876-445-2149. Mr. Williams of MFMG Services.
