Cost To Roughcast The Walls Of A House In Jamaica?

by Ricky
(Clarendon )

You need some roughcast done on your construction project, but not quite sure of the rates - or even who to believe?

This might help.

Ricky asked about the cost to roughcast a wall and I responded, but also linked to the latest builders rate sheet where he (and even you) can get all the construction rates.

Here's his question - with my answer.

Hi, good day. Can you tell me the cost per square foot to flash the wall of a house with mortar?

ANSWER: by Wellesley

Hey Ricky, thanks for asking.

The cost to roughcast a wall in Jamaica (I figured thats what you meant), based on the latest building contractors sheet, referenced here, is $320 JMD per square yard. I included a snippet above.

Bear in mind a few things though.

  1. First, this is a guide.
  2. This price, is on the assumption that this is the wall only!.
  3. There are different rates based on the type of walls as well.
  4. Different contractors or builders might apply their own rates, depending on various other factors.

If you need a recommendation from me on a reliable contractor, here is a trusted gentleman (click the link). He is one of the best in the island!

By the way Ricky, to get the all the construction (and demolition) rates from the Jamaica builders rate sheet, click here.

I hope this helps!
