Drinking age is a personal choice

There is no formal drinking age in Jamaica and surprisingly this freedom of choice is not abused by the youth of Jamaica. Drunkenness is generally frowned on by Jamaican society and party goers tend to drink in moderation.

That said, it should be noted that many all inclusive resorts are quite liberal in making liquor available to their guests in quantities that they would not think of consuming at home. There are those vacationers who are making the getaway from the pressures of work and come to "blow off steam".

You can unwind in Jamaica and have the time of your life on just the natural vibes and moderate drinking if any.
