Free Eye Care Services Return To Jamaica

Under the ICARE program, doctors from the US and Canada will be visiting the parishes of Hanover and St. Ann here in Jamaica to provide free eye care services for its residents.

The range of services includes:


  • Eye Exams & Eye Disease Screening
  • Eye Surgery Referrals
  • Prescription, Reading, and Sun Glasses
  • Blood Pressure & Blood Sugar Screening


The program will run between October 5 and 16th with the following schedule:



  • Lauriston United Church, Davis Town, ST. ANN

    October 5 - 9, 2015

  • Lucea Christian Fellowship Church, Lucea, HANOVER

    October 12 - 16, 2015

    Doors opens each day at 9:30AM




The community is invited to come out early as space is limited. Service will be delivered on a first come, first serve basis.

ICARE is a program of Great Shape Inc, Sandals Foundation, VOH and LERC, in partnership with Sandals Resorts, the Ministry of Health in Jamaica, SEE International, Alcon and JUTA.

The program is approved by the Ministry Of Health is Jamaica and is fully endorsed by My-Island-Jamaica.com
